With HP StoreEasy 5000 Storage, clients can easily handle the file and application storage requirements of their medium-to-large corporate and branch office environments. Built on industry-leading ProLiant DNA and Microsoft Windows Storage Server, StoreEasy 5000 Storage integrates quickly into new and current settings and offers IT generalists a simple, consistent management experience. In a StoreEasy 5000, each 5530 Storage Controller has 12 DIMM slots, three of which are used (8GB x 3) and nine of which are free. HPEE advises increasing memory per blade in 8GB increments. To ensure that the same amount of memory is added simultaneously to each 5530 Storage Controller in the system, when ordering the above 8GB DIMM kit, the user must order in multiples of two.
