HPE Proliant ML570 G2
Server Computer
To ensure that the system receives the correct airflow, the ML570 G2 supports seven fans. The server's fans are all hot-pluggable. The server issues a system alert in the event of a primary fan failure and instructs the redundant fan to turn on automatically. The redundant hot-plug fan reduces the possibility of system interruption, protects the numerous server components from overheating, and offers quick serviceability.
One back baffle fan, two I/O hot-plug fans, and up to two CPU hot-plug fans are all supported by this server. I/O fans cool other system components, whereas CPU fans cool the processors. Three areas of the server's airflow are designated for the CPU, I/O, and drives. If a fan in a zone fails after the redundant fans are installed, the remaining fan or fans will still be able to provide enough cooling.
