"We present the new HPE ProLiant DL580 G3, which is now equipped with the latest Intel Xeon MP processors with EM64T and Hyper-threading, Hot-Plug RAID RAM, and a completely redesigned flexible and adaptable chassis. From the front of the DL580 G3, you can access the processor, memory, and hard drives. The server's back allows access to the power supply. These capabilities eliminate cable management problems and make it easier to access servers installed higher in racks by enabling administrators to maintain these components without removing the server from the rack. Depending on the configuration, it may be possible to maintain memory, hard drives, and redundant power sources without disassembling or removing the server hood. Advanced Memory Protection is intended to preserve server availability and memory dependability without needing a service intervention. Various memory-protection options, including Online Spare Memory, Hot Plug Mirrored Memory, and Hot Plug RAID Memory, are included in Advanced Memory Protection. These memory configurations offer more fault tolerance by specifying more system memory for a fail-over scenario. By hitting F9 during POST, users can customise any of these settings in the ROM-Based Setup Utility (RBSU). Choose Advanced Memory Protection from the Main Menu in RBSU."
