With enterprise-class uptime and manageability, tried-and-true 2-way, dual-core AMD OpteronTM performance, and 2U density for a range of rack deployments and workloads, the HP ProLiant DL385, the world's largest selling AMD server, lives up to its heritage of design perfection. Dual NC371i multifunction gigabit network adapters with TCP/IP Offload Engine are built into the HP ProLiant DL385 G2, and optional ProLiant essentials licence kits also support Accelerated iSCSI and RDMA. Memory can be up to 32 GB PC2-5300 DIMMs (DDR2-667). 2:1 Interleaving is supported by standard models. There are further options for Node interleaving (data saved across two processor memory sets) and Bank interleaving (data protected across two pairs of DIMMs). Processors: • Systems can accommodate up to two AMD Dual-Core Rev F, 2200 series processors with 2MB (2 x 1MB) Level 2 cache for lightning-fast performance (2 processors standard on all Performance models) • Processors from the AMD Quad-Core 2300 Series with 2MB (4 x 512KB) 2MB of level 2 cache (1 x 2MB) Cache at level 3 • Preconfigured Performance models reduce implementation costs while saving substantial time. • HT-2100 Northbridge and HT1000 Southbridge chipset from Server works.
