HPE Proliant DL380 G7

The HP ProLiant DL360 G7 is designed for deployments with limited space and combines performance, intelligent power and cooling management, IT management tools, and critical fault tolerance. A 1U server that features ProLiant iLO 3 remote management, the most recent Intel 5600 series processors with increased performance, and unique HP Thermal Logic Technologies leads the industry in energy efficiency. HP keeps supplying more economy, flexibility, and performance for applications with limited space. A maximum of two Intel Xeon 5500 or Xeon 5600 series four or six-core CPUs are supported on this rack server. Administrators can use lower wattage ""E""-class or ""L"" rated CPUs for a reduced cost instead of high-performance ""X"" processors. If desired, Xeon 5500s can be added to the system to reduce the overall cost. The HPE DL360 Gen7 supports DDR3 memory modules registered (RDIMM) or unbuffered (UDIMM) but does not permit combining multiple memory types. Nine DIMM slots are available per installed CPU, or a total of eighteen DIMMs with two processors, in each of the three memory channels found in each processor socket. The system can support 384GB of memory using twelve 32GB RDIMM memory modules. Only twelve DIMM slots will be supported using 16GB or 32GB memory modules, and both processors must be installed.
