Two new quad-core opteron CPU variants are now available for the HP ProLiant DL365 G5. In both BTO and CTO variants, 2346HE (1.8 GHz, 55 W) and 2356 (2.3 GHz, 75 W) are designed for deployments with limited space because they combine concentrated 1U compute power, Integrated Lights-Out (iLO) management, and important fault tolerance. High-performance systems with Quad-Cord AMD OpteronTM CPUs, DDR2 memory, Serial Attached SCSI (SAS), and PCI Express technology are suitable for a variety of scale-out applications. Additionally, the DL365 G5 offers all of this in a super-dense architecture with redundant fans, power, and RAID functionality.
