The HPE D8000 Disk Enclosure is a storage enclosure for dense, financially viable external storage expansion for enormous data capacity applications. It is designed for data-intensive situations. The HPE D8000 can be utilised for dense, high-capacity expansion in storage applications like cloud backup, data protection, or significant data settings, in addition to being used as a standalone Direct Attach Enclosure (Unstructured and Structured). Joined in a chain, The HPE Smart Array E208e-p SR Gen10 Controller or the P408e-p SR Gen10 Controller, which contains HPE Apollo and HPE StoreEasy, can be used to connect the D8000 Disk Enclosure to ProLiant Gen10 servers. Up to 212 drives can be supported by dairying two D8000 enclosures. The Smart Array Controllers' well-known Smart Array technology offers support for RAID levels and keeps the server running and the data accessible while a faulty drive is being replaced. Hot pluggable, low profile, dual-ported, significant form factor (LFF), SAS MDL, or solid-state drives are supported by design for top loading.
