The enterprise-class Hitachi Compute Blade X57A1 server is a platform. It removes performance and throughput bottlenecks with balanced system architecture. Flexible configurations are supported by the inbuilt logical partitioning capability of the Hitachi Compute Blade X57A1. With minimal expense and maximum simplicity, it expands the advantages of logical partitioning to additional areas of the enterprise data centre, such as mission-critical application servers and database servers. The 2000 X57-A1 model only supports SAN booting.
