The primary design of the Hitachi Compute Blade 2000 (CB2000) is derived from our range of incredibly dependable mainframe platforms that are connected by a strong management software solution. Enterprise datacenters can manage and administer Hitachi Compute Blade 2000 (CB2000) servers more easily thanks to Hitachi Compute Blade 2000 (CB2000) management solutions. The Hitachi Compute Blade 2000 (CB2000) SMP supports up to 8 cores and has a maximum memory of 144 GB/blade. For scalable performance, the system also supports Multi-Blade Symmetric Multi Processing (SMP) connection technology. There are two coupled Mezzanine cards (PCI Express 2.0 x8) on each Hitachi Compute Blade 2000.
It needs AC input power (a power supply with a range of 200–240 VAC, N+1, and complete redundancy).
There are 16 PCI Express 2.0 x8 slots for I/O expansion cards in the Hitachi Compute Blade 2000 (CB2000) chassis.
